Sylvan Learning Center is looking for a motivated and reliable SAT Math and Reading Tutor to work with high school students preparing for the SAT.
We are looking for someone who is confident in teaching SAT Math, Reading, Writing, and test-taking strategies. The ideal candidate enjoys working with teenagers, is patient, organized, and able to explain concepts clearly.
Responsibilities:
- Tutor students in SAT Math, Reading, and Writing
- Help students improve test-taking strategies and confidence
- Prepare students for SAT practice tests and official exams
- Track student progress and provide feedback
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of SAT Math and Reading
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, patient, and professional
- Must be available during afternoons/evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience preparing students for the SAT, ACT, or other standardized tests
- Background in education, math, English, or related field
- Ability to motivate and support high school students
