- Delivering effective meetings with students to educate and empower them on how to navigate the college process using Class 101 curriculum.
- Encouraging, motivating and keeping students on track as they progress through the college admissions process.
- Serving as a reliable source for students and families
- Meeting deadlines for submitting applications
- Guiding students through the essay writing process to create and refine main, supplemental, honors, and scholarship essays
- Undergraduate degree in an applicable field of study, including business, education, and social sciences, or equivalent related career experience
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some nights and weekends
- Excellent relationship-building skills, particularly with teenagers
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to learn and execute a proven system
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with and a willingness to lead a classroom setting, facilitating classroom learning for up to 20 students
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The successful applicant will be comfortable using technology. At a minimum the applicant should be adept using web browsers and MS Office suite applications, particularly MS Word and MS PowerPoint
- Experience with social media and social media marketing is a plus
